More homes are hitting the market, but here’s what’s actually happening…

Inventory is up about 6% in the past couple of weeks, bringing us right in line with where we were this time last year. Still, we’re sitting about 43% below pre-COVID levels, so supply isn’t exactly “high.”

At the same time, buyer demand has slowed slightly after peaking a few weeks ago.

What does that mean in real life…
�Homes are taking a little longer to sell (around 80 days on average), and the pace feels a bit more balanced than earlier this year.

Not a dramatic shift, but enough to change how you approach buying or selling.
