We would like to inform you that the Annual Asylum Fee (AAF) is no longer paused. If you have a pending asylum case, it is important to pay attention to any notices you receive.
What should you do?
If you receive a notice regarding the Annual Asylum Fee, please contact our office as soon as possible. We are here to help you!
Do not miss any deadlines. Carefully review all notices you receive to avoid missing any important deadlines.
If you have already paid the Annual Asylum Fee, please notify our office and send us proof of payment so we can update your file.

Si reciben un aviso relacionado con la tarifa anual de asilo, comuníquense con nuestra oficina lo antes posible. ¡Estamos aquí para ayudarles!

USCIS is informing immigration applicants whose fingerprints are collected for FBI criminal history checks that their information may be used for ongoing background checks as part of the immigration process.
- Who may receive this notice? Applicants undergoing fingerprint-based background checks for immigration benefits.
- Do you need to take action? No. USCIS states that no action is required at this time.
Receiving this notice does NOT mean you have a criminal record or that there is a problem with your immigration case. If USCIS needs additional information, they will send you a separate notice. Keep all notices you receive for your records.
