Day Two of the Legal Netlink Alliance Americas Fall General Meeting brought some fascinating conversations around AI and its future in the legal practice.

From the opportunities AI presents to improve efficiency and access to legal information, to the important questions around confidentiality, accuracy, and responsible use, the discussions highlighted just how quickly the legal profession is evolving.

The challenge ahead is finding the right balance between embracing innovation and maintaining the judgment, accountability, and trust that are fundamental to the practice of law.

I'm joining colleagues for the Legal Netlink Alliance Americas Fall General Meeting, on behalf of Gross Welch Marks Clare, generously hosted by Mansour Gavin LPA.

For me, the real value of these meetings is the exchange. Hearing how other firms are approaching the same challenges, comparing experiences, and asking candid questions. I enjoy discovering what is working elsewhere and sometimes coming home with a completely different way of looking at something.

Just as importantly, is time spent getting to know the people we rely on when our clients need help beyond our own jurisdiction or expertise. Connecting, meeting new people, and strengthening the relationships is what makes this network work.

Looking forward to listening, contributing, reconnecting and bringing some new ideas home — and grateful to the Mansour Gavin team for welcoming us to Cleveland.
