Happy Fourth of July from the Savage Law Office! Let's hope the only place you saw red and blue lights was at a parade or in the sky. If that's not the case, give me a call 405-601-1418!
"Buildings don't have memories but people do and we remember." - Tulsa business leader Sam Combs III
A century later, Oklahoma comes together to acknowledge the gruesome history of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. The Greenwood Rising Museum will recreate the haunting instant one of America's most prosperous Black neighborhoods was reduced to rubble. The exhibit officially opens in July but limited Preview Opening tickets will be available later this week!

Malcolm was asked to contribute his answer to Outlook Magazine’s Ask Edmond. The question was “What sound, scent or flavor reminds you of your childhood summers?”
His answer:
“I spent my childhood summers mowing lawns, hauling hay, working in our family’s huge garden, and with the cows and pigs. I love the smell of fresh cut grass, the sound of cows mooing and the taste of fresh vegetables.”

In the word’s of his brother, George Floyd stood for peace and and unity. We are saddened that protests in his name have turned to destruction and violence. His family encourages those who are angry to channel their anger towards positive change.
EXCLUSIVE: George Floyd’s brother Terrence says he feels like violent protests are “overshadowing what is going on because he was about peace .... [this is] destructive unity. That’s not what he was about.” https://bit.ly/2Xm0SUv
