Officer Sappington responded to the area of 1300 E. Maple this afternoon to take a larceny report of a bicycle. This bike belonged to 4 year old, Ethan. He had left his bike on the front porch of his house overnight. Surveillance camera shows a female walking onto their porch and taking his bike at 6:11 a.m. Officer Sappington and the rest of the dayshift crew checked the area for the stolen bike, but couldn't locate it. The shift took it upon themselves and bought Ethan a new bike. I don't know about you, but that is one happy kid! Great work guys!
