Today is Wrongful Conviction Day. Every person wrongfully convicted represents more than a failure of the system. It is a life interrupted, a family changed, and time that can never be returned. As a criminal defense attorney, I believe protecting the innocent and holding our justice system accountable are responsibilities we all share. Today we recognize the exonerees, advocates, attorneys, families, and organizations doing the difficult work of making things right.

You can’t spell “organized” without “Shauna.” Well, technically you can, but we wouldn’t recommend it.
Shauna keeps Jacqui Ford Law running smoother than a courtroom coffee maker at 7 a.m. She follows up with clients, tracks mitigation, preps cases for trial, and still finds time to keep Jacqui and Alex on schedule.
Basically, if something needs doing, Shauna already did it.
