A major focus of mine is creating estate plans for young couples and parents with young kids. This demographic is overlooked by my profession. Even attorneys tend to focus on elderly clients when it comes to estate planning. However, when you are parent with young children, this is the most important time in your life to have a plan, much more than when your children are adults.

When the stakes are this high, you need to respect Murphy's Law and have a plan.
