Dear Friends of the Firm,

Recent changes to the Power of Attorney Statutes has resulted in the complete elimination of Healthcare Powers of Attorney. Unless you have a validly executed Healthcare Power of Attorney by November 1, 2021, you will not be able to designate someone to make your healthcare decisions if you are incapacitated. You will be limited to Advanced Directives. Fortunately, there is still time for you to get a Healthcare Power of Attorney grandfathered in. We are currently available to get these Healthcare Power of Attorneys set up and validated before the cutoff on Friday, but time is limited and you will need to act fast. If you are interested in this service, please send us an email at [email protected] or give us a call at (405) 740-3714 and we will prioritize your needs in consideration of your longstanding relationship with the firm.
