Stay safe and be aware these bolders are huge! The Army Corps of Engineers is working on the North Jetty for the next few years.🥰

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is working on the Grays Harbor North Jetty Maintenance Project near Ocean Shores. While the North Jetty can be a popular spot for anglers targeting bottomfish and salmon when fishing seasons are open, the Army Corps is reminding the public that active construction areas are temporarily closed to public access for safety

The project involves extremely large rocks weighing up to 40 tons, heavy equipment, and moving vehicles. Construction areas will be marked or fenced for safety. Even when equipment is not visibly operating, the area may remain an active construction zone. The public should follow all posted closures and restrictions.
