Monmouth County's first DWI checkpoint of the year will be this Friday, May 17:

The Monmouth County DWI Task Force will be conducting a DWI checkpoint this Friday, September 22, from 10pm-2am in Middletown.

All northbound vehicles on Route 35 will be diverted into the M&T Bank parking lot, just south of Navesink River Road.

Officers from the local Police Department will work alongside Task Force members to screen all drivers for their sobriety.

ADVISORY: The Monmouth County DWI Task Force will be conducting two checkpoints this weekend.

The first will be on Friday, July 21, from 10 p.m.-2 a.m., in Holmdel. All southbound vehicles on Route 35 will be diverted into the Dearborn Farms parking lot.

The second will be Saturday, July 22, from 10 p.m.-2 a.m., in Ocean Township. All northbound vehicles in the Asbury Park circle will be diverted onto Lincoln Drive.

During both checkpoints, County Task Force members will work alongside local police officers to screen each driver for his or her sobriety.

During this busy Labor Day holiday weekend, the Monmouth County DWI Task Force will be conducting TWO DWI checkpoints.

The first will run from 10 p.m. Friday night to 2 a.m. Saturday in Freehold Township. The checkpoint will take place on Route 9, where all northbound vehicles will be diverted into Juniper Plaza, to check drivers for their sobriety.

The Saturday checkpoint will be taking place in Wall Township, on Route 138. All westbound vehicles will be diverted onto Maxwell Road.
Hours are 10 p.m. Saturday to 2 a.m. Sunday.
