Our policy team and organizers had an amazing time at the George Jackson Organizing Training last week. We dove deep into leadership development and local organizing tactics to build power towards our liberated future. We were honored to share space with Sitawa Jamaa, a prolific freedom fighter whose organizing inside Pelican Bay State Prison led to the historic Agreement to End Hostilities. Big thanks to and for having us.

It takes a village, and at Community Giveback yesterday, we had at least a whole town. We're so thankful that for the 26th year, we were able to support family unity across prison walls by gifting kids bikes, toys, and books on behalf of their incarcerated parents. HUGE thanks to our amazing community: volunteers, staff, and participants showed up to make this one of the best yet. Extra special gratitude for all of the incarcerated parents who signed their kids up to make sure they felt the holiday love despite their separation. Shoutout for keeping us happy and fed, for the music, and the amazing volunteers, friends, and family who fitted helmets, handed out bikes, took photos, and made sure this event could happen. We can't wait for next year!
