Good morning, Happy hump day! I would like to start off this morning by thanking the Oakdale Lions Club for all their hard work and making sure that our town is covered in flags today. To those that were lost on this tragic day and all those service dogs and service people. We remember and will never forget❤️‍🩹

Fun trivia fact: my dad, Dave Phillips, carved that big wooden fish! 🐟

(He also carved the big grey cougar head that used to be in the Cloverland cafeteria when we were growing up! I have no idea if it’s still there!)

Knights Ferry General Store & Saloon
The General Store, is one of the oldest establishments in all of Knights Ferry! In fact it’s the oldest running general store in the state of California! It’s is a great place to stop to grab a quick snack or refreshment to go, and is also a great place to hang around if you are looking to relax! The front of the building is a general store, and the back area is a saloon. General Store is open on Thursday , Friday & Saturdays from 9AM to 6PM. The Saloon is open from noon to midnight on Sat/Sun and 5 to midnight on Tuesday and Friday. The store is a landmark in town, and a fantastic place to nourish yourself before or after exploring everything Knights Ferry has to offer!
