How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?
No one is above the law. But that shouldn't mean that a mistake should ruin the rest of your life. Criminal law is a passion. There are a lot of moving parts to criminal law. It takes time to build on the law. The attorneys at Di Rezze & Associates, P.C. have all gravitated and mastered the art of Criminal Law. It takes time, patience and resources. All of which we have.
What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others?
There are no secrets in the criminal justice system. The Constitution of the United States as well as each individual states set forth a set of guidelines that must be followed. Our firms philosophy is simple: use the tools provided to all attorneys to secure the best result for our clients. A good lawyer has a full and complete understanding of all aspects of the law. What distinguishes your law firm from others?
Almost all attorneys, on surface, try to distinguish themselves from their fellow colleagues. They think of it as a business. In order to survive, they must be appealing and almost always, the art of lawyering gets lost. Compassion and knowledge are the two things clients look for in an attorney. Our clients will testify to our integrity, compassion and knowledge.
Does your firm provide pro bono legal services or otherwise participate in your community?
Absolutely. In order to remain a good lawyer, in my opinion, you must help those in need at a time where they seem helpless. Attorneys take an oath that is easily forgotten. Our firm remembers that we serve our community first.
Is your firm willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?
Yes! This is something that almost all attorneys do not like to do. We understand that sometimes, you may not be in the right financial situation, but that should not mean that you do no not deserve the best help possible.
What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?
Our firm believes that is one of our jobs as attorneys; to educate our clients on their current situation. We are not afraid to give away our secret. However, the problem with our clients educating themselves outside of our guidance is that they may not receive accurate information which may result in furthering the problem.
