Mercedes of Marin has really changed. They have sold ownership twice in the last several years. My particular vehicle had a 10 year extended warranty on a cam shaft adjuster that was notorious for failure around 40,000 miles.
Not once did anyone mention this to me during routine servicing. The fact that I mentioned to them that the ignition was hesitating apparently doesn’t count.
Now, of course the cam shaft adjuster is failing- which is well documented & notorius - but naturally neither the dealership or MBUSA will take responsibility. I am sad & so underwhelmed- never again will I deal with them unless they fix this. You don’t always get what you paid for… not any more.
