A proposed bill in Massachusetts would allow documents to be notarized remotely, according to the National Notary Association.

Great article on communicating with your teen - I wish I had had this before my daughter started middle school! Bonus: most of the principles here can also apply to conversations with others - like our spouse or friends ... particularly the part about just listening and empathizing, rather than offering an opinion.

Start by checking your baggage, and your judgment, at the door.

Hallmarks of a 💩 apology include: defensiveness, victim blaming, gaslighting, mockery, and / or passive insincerity. Have you ever received an “apology” that wasn’t really an apology?

I recommend coparenting apps to even my most amicable clients - I think it’s helpful to have all relevant information and communication in one central place. Some tech-savvy parents accomplish this using a google doc and share folder, but it’s convenient to have a prebuilt platform.

Never forget a pick-up, drop-off, doctor’s appointment, or playdate, while cutting down on unnecessary scheduling (and emotional) conflicts.
