One of the silver linings to the current health issues is being able to spend more time together as a family. Livy is the only one who leaves the house on a regular basis for school but she is home now as well. We truly enjoy having her with us! We look at it as a blessing of time that we woudn't ordinarly have.

The challenge that many special needs families are having is how to give their children what they typically get at school. Livy receives specialized therapies and lessons. Her aide also works with her every day. Many families are struggling with the same. It's just another piece that makes life a little more complicated when caring for a child with disabilities.

On the bright side, we will keep going for walks, playing games, and watching movies. What are you doing as a family now more than ever?
