Today’s news story was about how the median income has reached a record high. Household (that’s combined income) income rose 2.6%. Meanwhile, in 2025, inflation was 2.68%. So if the price of things goes up more than income, we aren’t getting ahead.

Apparently some of you don't know that if you are married and not separated, you CANNOT file HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD tax returns. I realize this gets you a bigger refunds, but you will get flagged for audit eventually.
