Join us Thursday, November 7 for our next Twin Cities Business Club event.
Our topic will be the value of intergenerational networking. Featured speakers are Philip Xiao '15 and Jiatao Cheng ’15 of Homi.
What began as a student-alumni social network has evolved into a hiring marketplace that connects startups tackling real problems with liberal arts graduates interested in solving those problems. It's one part college-specific social network and one part recruiter tool, where alumni can refer candidates to their company directly.
Come spend some time with Twin Cities alumni from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Speakers will begin at 6:30 p.m. with time for Q&A. Homi will be having the event catered so please respond early if you plan to attend.

Team Carleton. I accepted a new job in Merrill, WI and need to pass the torch to some folks to organize the next meeting and spur this club along. Cliff Anderson has volunteered to work with a steering committee to plan the next event. It would be great if we could get two more volunteers to work with him. Thanks all and Happy Holidays!

As a reminder - we look forward to seeing Carleton alums at Sociable Cider Werks tomorrow night, 8/15. Doors open at 5PM, and our featured speaker is Carleton alum, and Minnesota Commissioner of Commerce, Mike Rothman. We have room for more participants, so feel free to encourage fellow alums to participate and to register tomorrow on site.
