Common Folk Artist Collective is a group of local and emerging creators who share and utilize resources to explore and thrive in our creative endeavors

Common Folk members collectively invest in a shared studio, retail, and performance space that is available to all members at affordable costs. Leadership Members organize opportunities for members to share their creative work with the community a

nd actively advocate for and promote member's work to the greater public. We contribute to our communities by providing a safe space for community gatherings, generating revenue for low-income creators, and hosting accessible creative events. We address needs within the community by collaborating on projects that make a positive impact in North Adams and beyond.

We are proud to officially launch the Arts Hub Fellowships for Artists of Color Across Berkshire County in partnership with Multicultural Bridge!

As the North County hub, we are offering one artist a year of private studio space plus a $3,500 stipend to grow their art practice in the Berkshires. We will also be distributing two additional grants for $3,500 each. All three artists will get All Access memberships to the collective that include access to our darkroom, screenprinting, and shared studio facilities.

Applications are due October 1st.
