Exciting Announcement!

Effective January 1, 2025, I, Attorney James J. Sisto, founder of Berkshire Elder Law Center PC, am proud to announce that I have formally joined the law firm of MARTIN HOCHBERG & CIANFLONE, PLLP (“MHC”) as a full-time partner. I will continue practicing from my office located at 33 Main Street in North Adams, where I have specialized for the past 35 years in estate planning & real estate law. I will continue to focus on elder matters and Medicaid planning where I have helped thousands of clients protect their homes and savings while applying for nursing home Medicaid benefits when necessary.

MHC is a twelve attorney multi-generational law firm with experience in family law, civil & criminal litigation, personal injury, real estate transactions, probate administration and estate planning. I have worked closely with MHC as an Of Counsel Attorney for the past three years.

I am looking forward to providing estate & Medicaid planning services and assistance in real estate closings to existing and new clients in addition to referring those areas listed above that I do not practice in to other immensely qualified attorneys of MHC!

Miles is so proud to be part of our real estate team. We recently came through for our Client who sold his current residence and purchased a new home on the same day even though Quicken Loans (not always the quickest) was his lender. We managed to get all information into the lender in time and coordinate multiple parties to close on the date listed on the Purchase & Sale Agreement. Great job Pamela Sherman White!
