HAVE YOU COMPLIED WITH THE CORPORATE TRANSPARENCY ACT? IF NOT, IT'S NOT TOO LATE.

The Corporate Transparency Act went into effect January 1, 2024. The Act requires that legal entities formed and operated in the United States provide identifying information (including the name, birthdate, physical address and a photo from a driver’s license or passport) for each beneficial owner or person with control.

The information will go into a national registry controlled by FinCEN, a bureau of the U.S. Department of Treasury, and will be available to law enforcement agencies for their use in detecting illegal activity.

Please note that there is a December 31st, filing deadline for entities already in existence by January 1, 2024.

The Baig Firm is excited to announce the addition of Sandi Chou to the Firm as a Legal Assistant!

Sandi was born and raised in Georgia to first-generation immigrant parents from Vientiane, Laos. Her early experiences have shaped her strong work ethic and cultural sensitivity. Sandi pursued her high school and college education in Connecticut, where she developed a solid academic foundation and honed her professional skills. She began her college academic journey studying business management before transferring to psychology, demonstrating her commitment to both operational efficiency and understanding human behavior.

After returning to Georgia, she built a successful career, utilizing her extensive customer service expertise. With over a decade of experience in customer service, Sandi's career spans a variety of fields, including a successful tenure as a manager in retail, salons, and restaurants. Her expertise in these areas complements her role at TBF where she leverages her extensive customer service background to provide high quality service to our clients.

Outside of her professional life, she is a passionate cook who enjoys experimenting with new recipes and creating delicious meals for her family. Sandi cherishes her time with her partner and three children, finding joy in both her culinary adventures and family moments.

Her rich cultural background, combined with her diverse professional experiences, makes her a dynamic and valuable addition to TBF!

The Baig Firm is excited to announce the addition of Attorney Amberly Robinson to the Firm!

Amberly was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, focusing on law and ethics, from the University of Cincinnati, along with a minor in Anthropology and a Religious Studies certificate. She went on to obtain her Juris Doctor from NKU’s Salmon P. Chase College of Law and is licensed to practice in both Kentucky and Georgia.

Throughout her professional journey, Amberly gained valuable experience through various internships and legal roles, including an externship for a Magistrate Judge in the Southern District of Ohio, and over three years working as a law clerk for a reputable Creditor’s Rights firm. Additionally, she contributed to a pro bono Small Business Clinic, assisting startups and nonprofit organizations with their legal needs. After moving to Atlanta in 2021, Amberly worked for a mid-size Creditor's Rights firm with a focus on real estate litigation.

Amberly's practice at TBF will focus on Business and Transactional law, with an emphasis on providing support to the Firm's External General Counsel clientele.
