Because of Her

Maybe it was the military family upbringing that sparked my need to move every few years. Staying in one place for too long never felt quite right, but I also knew that renting away my income wasn’t a sound investment either. So I did what any twenty-two year old, broke, fresh out of college gal does...I bought my first home! Some years later, I sold it. I did this a few more times, each time pleased that each property turned into a profitable investment (that’s my father speaking).

When the news came that a little one was soon joining our family, goals changed. Instead of moving every few years, I used that ability to find value in certain neighborhoods and I began purchasing investment properties. The motivation, to one day pay for our daughter’s college tuition or her once in a lifetime backpacking trip around the world when she turned eighteen (Lord, help us!). However, I didn’t want to stop there. There was a drive, I knew I could do more. I received my real estate license, I became an NAR member and within two days of making it official, I had my first clients.

Because of her, I have taken my joy and knowledge of real estate beyond what I knew it could do for my family. I have found great satisfaction helping others find that perfect niche. Whether a client is a first-timer or seasoned homeowner, I want them all! All life chapters are important and if I can play a small, positive role, I’m invested in that.
