In an objectively really terrible week for anyone concerned about immigrants or civil rights in general, there are still some REALLY bright spots.

We volunteered with NIJC in December to take on a couple of pro se habeas cases to get immigrants out of prison and one of our cases was GRANTED today.

A mom with zero criminal history who was arrested during the Chicago ICE raids will be FREED TODAY.
