What a day at “Masters in Trial,” presented by the Orange County chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates ABOTA - Orange County Chapter! Partner Michael Jeandron joined the plaintiff’s team, led by Jeff Roberts for a full-day demonstration trial, from opening statement to closing argument, at UC Irvine School of Law.

For the record, the plaintiffs lost. Also, for the record, the defense wrote the script. We’re not saying the deck was stacked, we’re just saying we’d like a rematch with our own fact pattern. 😉

Huge thanks to lunch speaker Jonathan Shapiro, former U.S. Attorney, co-creator of Goliath, and writer on The Practice and Boston Legal, and to our fellow plaintiff’s team members Garrett Chambers, Dan Hodes, Jennifer Russell, and Geoff Rill. Masters in Trial, a full-day demonstration of a trial from opening statement to closing argument, presented by some of Orange County’s best trial lawyers. 7 hours of general MCLE credit.
