With the US Presidential election only weeks away, it’s hard to avoid politics—even in real estate.

For homebuyers, election uncertainty adds another layer to decision-making. Yet studies on how presidential races affect stock and housing markets point to similar conclusions: the economy, inflation, and mortgage rates are more reliable indicators of market performance.
