As a seasoned mediator, I have personally mediated over 600 divorces and have reached a full or partial settlement agreement in 95% of them. For my ongoing work mediating at the courthouse, I recently received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Honorable Lon Hurwitz, Supervising Judge, Family Law Panel of the Superior Court of California, County of Orange. A 1985 graduate of UCLA with extensive training in family and divorce mediation. My career began in 2000 at the Harbor Justice Court mediating over 300 hours of small claims cases. However, I quickly discovered my passion for helping people through the difficult challenges of a divorce. So after many hours of divorce and family mediation training, observation, and co-mediating divorce settlements, I began my own divorce mediation practice in May of 2002 in Newport Beach, California. I’m still amazed that I’m more passionate about divorce mediation than ever! Along with my private practice, I plan on continuing my commitment to the Orange County Family Court as a pro bono Senior Mediator Settlement Officer mediating cases once a week. I feel so honored and privileges to work with the remarkable people at the courthouse in every area of service.
