Last week, Walsh partners Hon. Mark Falk (Ret.), Hon. Douglas E. Arpert (Ret.), and Joseph L. Linares participated in the New Jersey State Bar Association's Annual Meeting and Convention in Atlantic City, engaging with colleagues and attending a range of CLE sessions throughout the program.
Judge Arpert served as a panelist on a program focused on the use of mediators, arbitrators, and special adjudicators in state and federal courts, alongside Chief Justice James R. Zazzali (Ret.), Kent Anderson, Susan Sangillo Bellifemine, Esq., and Stuart Reiser, and led by Hon. Thomas M. Moore, P.J.Cv. (Ret.). Joe also moderated a CLE panel during the Convention, featuring Hon. Zahid N. Quraishi, U.S.D.J., U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, Eric Abraham, Rebekah Conroy, and Mark M. Makhail.
In addition, Joe was recognized for his service as a Trustee of the New Jersey State Bar Association from 2020 through 2026. He will also serve as Chair of the Federal Practice Section and Co-Chair of the Judicial Administration Committee for the 2026–2027 term, and as a member of the Diversity, Pro Bono, and Membership Committees.
Thank you to outgoing NJSBA President Christine Amalfe for her leadership and service, and congratulations to President Norberto Garcia on his installation.
