Exciting news! Our own ., Partner and Chair of Genova Burns LLC's Human Resources, Counseling & Compliance Law Practice, is heading to Atlantic City, New Jersey to speak at the 2026 SHRM New Jersey Annual Conference & Expo!

This year marks the conference's 35th anniversary, running September 27–29 at the Atlantic City Convention Center, with a great theme: "The Science of HR: From Innovation to Integration."
Brigette will be presenting "Performance Management Training – For and By HR Managers" on Monday, September 28 (11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.), a session packed with practical, real-world takeaways for HR pros looking to sharpen their performance-management approach.

Beyond her session, there's a lot to look forward to: talent management, compliance, total rewards, HR tech, and tons of chances to connect with HR folks from across NJ and beyond.

We were proud to see Genova Burns LLC’s Commercial Real Estate team recently spotlighted in Real Estate NJ Magazine.

The feature highlights the wide range of developers, owners, landlords and tenants we serve....and the creative, practical thinking often required to move complex projects forward.

One example is The Journal, the landmark 64-story, 1,718-unit development in Jersey City. Our attorneys helped navigate the project’s land use and redevelopment approvals, condominium structure, financing considerations and coordination across multiple levels of government.

Projects of this scale rarely follow a straight path. We’re grateful for the opportunity to work alongside our clients, understand their business goals and help find solutions when the path forward isn’t immediately clear.

Exciting growth is underway for Lincoln Tech!

With the assistance of Genova Burns LLC Partner ., Chair of the firm’s Commercial Leasing Practice, Lincoln Tech recently entered into a long-term lease for a new 90,000-square-foot campus in North Tempe, Arizona.

The facility, Lincoln Tech’s 26th campus nationwide, will bring career-focused training in Automotive Technology, Electrical and Electronic Systems Technology, HVAC and Welding to the Phoenix metropolitan area, helping prepare students for opportunities in high-demand skilled trades.
