The Criminal Defense Team at Tsigler Law obtained a full acquittal in a recent felony trial. Our client was charged in a nine-count indictment, including violent felony offenses, in a case involving a ghost gun.
Cases like this carry severe sentencing exposure, and most end in a plea deal. Our client chose to go to trial. Lead attorney Ryan Forbes, with support from Helena Stranger, stood with him every step of the way.
Prosecutors presented a dozen law enforcement witnesses, along with DNA evidence and expert testimony, all of which our team challenged through rigorous cross-examination.
Two of the nine charges were dismissed before the case reached the jury. After a two-week trial, the jury deliberated for just over two hours, and our client was found not guilty on every remaining count. Today, justice was served.
