Today is World Sign Language Day. 🌍🤟
Every September 23, the UN reminds us that sign language is not just a communication tool—it’s a human right. For the 70+ million deaf people worldwide, access to sign language means access to education, healthcare, justice, employment, and full participation in society.
2026 is a milestone year: it marks the 75th anniversary of the World Federation of the Deaf and 20 years since the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities recognized sign languages as equal to spoken languages.
At Day Interpreting, we believe there are no human rights without sign language rights. That's why we provide certified American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting 24/7—via video (VRI) for medical, legal, corporate, educational, and community settings.
Because when communication is accessible, inclusion becomes real. 🤝
