Medical malpractice cases don't get much easier than this.

Foreign material left behind during surgery is one of the few exceptions to the statute of limitations in New York. Rather than 2 1/2 years from the date of malpractice, you have one year from the date of the foreign body was discovered.

Very interesting issue here. While it is certainly a "first world problem" and while I certainly have doubts about the efforts she has made to secure employment, it must be said that the figures published by law schools regarding employment upon graduation are incredibly misleading.

For the first time, a law school will stand trial on charges that it inflated the employment data for its graduates to lure prospective students.

In researching some medical issues in a new case I came across the following. Did you know that:

1. It is illegal in every country in the world other than Iran to offer financial incentives to living organ donors.

2. China has been harvesting the organs of executed prisoners for forced donation for years and has recently agreed to end and/or scale back the practice by 2017.
