Several months ago, I posted that a client, Dr. Moshe Glick, had been improperly charged by an Essex County grand jury with assault when in truth, he was defending a person from a vicious choke attack by an anti-Israel protester who along with dozens of others, was also illegally blocking access to a synagogue.

Today, I am thrilled to report that Governor Phil Murphy of New Jersey granted a full pardon to Moshe acknowledging that although Moshe had not even been convicted of a crime that the meritless prosecution had to cease.

A trial date is now set in the bribery case against Cleveland Guardians pitchers Emmanuel Clase and Luis Ortiz. Prosecutors allege the two men accepted thousands of dollars in a scheme to help gamblers in the Dominican Republic. NBC New York's Rana Novini reports.
