SAFER: Student Advocates for Empowerment Through Harm Reduction SAFER is a student organization at NYU Law School that connects drug users to an array of direct legal services and trainings.

SAFER (Student Advocates for Empowerment Through Harm Reduction) is a student organization at NYU School of law that seeks to align legal practice with the values and practices of harm reduction. We work on-site at local harm reduction organizations, like the Washington Heights CORNER Project, to connect drug users to an array of legal services and trainings. We organize, educate, and advocate to

end the stigmatization of drug use, honor the dignity of drug users, and reduce the harms of the drug war.
