Eyerman has been practicing Family Law for 23 years representing clients throughout the city of New York, including New York, Kings, Bronx, Richmond, Queens, Westchester, Nassau and Suffolk Counties on all family law issues, including divorce, custody, visitation, child support, spousal support, orders of protection, child protective proceedings, adoptions, misdemeanor criminal cases, grandparent
visitation, guardianship, Special Immigration Juvenile Status cases, juvenile delinquency, foster care issues involving foster parents' rights, private, grand parent, same s*x and step-parent adoptions. Eyerman also handles Family Court appeals in the Appellate Division's First and Second Departments. Eyerman has provided training to foster care agencies, foster care workers, adoption case workers, and foster and adoptive parents. Eyerman graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1989 and was admitted to practice law in New York State in February, 1990. Eyerman honed his litigation skills representing thousands of clients in Family Court while employed as a trial attorney in the Legal Aid Society in Kings County. In September, 1994, Mr. Eyerman, decided to capitalize on his vast experience and trial court skills by creating his own law firm specializing in family law cases, adoptions and misdemanor criminal cases. Eyerman has, and continues to represent clients in Family Court, Supreme Court and Criminal Court. Eyerman is passionate about his work and recognizes the fears, concerns, uncertainty and anxieties that clients face while engaged in litigation. Eyerman has been interviewed on television's WB 11, NY 1, in The New York Observer and The Staten Island Advance on family law and adoption issues and cases. Additionally, since 2009, Mr. Eyerman has been employed as an adjunct professor at Berkeley College in New York City teaching courses in Criminal Procedure, Criminal Law and Business Law.
