ael served as a member of the Unemployment Action Center, where he represented claimants in their unemployment insurance appeals before New York State administrative law judges. Israel also served as secretary of the Prisoners' Rights Advocates and, as a student practitioner at Fordham's Criminal Defense Clinic, assisted in the representation of two Guantanamo Bay detainees and other indigent defendants. Israel also served as a member of the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media and Entertainment Law Journal. Following law school, Israel served as law clerk to the Honorable Martin G. Cronin (New Jersey Superior Court, Essex County) and assisted as a New Jersey Superior Court trained mediator. Bianco (United States District Court, Eastern District of New York), Councilman David G.
