Pursuant to the Presidential Proclamation published last night by the Biden Administration, as of November 8, 2021, all regional travel suspensions are lifted and replaced with a vaccination policy requiring full vaccination of nonimmigrants traveling to the U.S. from any country.

The White House will announce on Friday it will lift travel restrictions for fully vaccinated foreign nationals effective Nov. 8, at land borders and for air travel, a White House official said.

Please note that an effective date for the below described vaccine requirement (and, recission of the travel suspensions) has NOT YET BEEN ANNOUNCED.

In the meantime, the CDC has confirmed that only vaccines that are approved or authorized by the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) or listed for emergency use by the World Health Organization (WHO) will be accepted for international travelers seeking to travel to the U.S.:

FDA Authorized/Approved - Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer-BioNTech

USDOS has announced that it will begin accepting entries for the 2023 Diversity Visa Lottery beginning, October 6, 2021 at 12:00 pm (noon) EST until Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 12:00 pm (noon) EST. Individuals who submit more than one entry during the registration period will be disqualified. There is NO FEE to enter the DV lottery.
While many sites appear to be authentic, most are not.

On June 19, 2020, Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany confirmed that, for now, President Trump has no plans to lift the travel restrictions imposed on individuals traveling to the U.S. from the Schengen area. We will continue to monitor announcements regarding U.S. entry restrictions and provide updates as soon as additional information becomes available.
