U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., spoke at the 2025 Global Summit on Terrorism and Political Violence, acknowledging Kreindler’s work on behalf of 9/11 victims and families. Kreindler’s terrorism litigation team for the Ashton, et al v. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia lawsuit includes attorneys Megan Wolfe Benett, Jim Kreindler, Steve Pounian, Andrew “Duke” Maloney and Gavin Simpson.

Over 30 full-time case managers, intake professionals and staff focus their full-time practice on continuing to help 9/11 victims and their families who are suffering from cancer and other serious illnesses. Since 2001, Kreindler & Kreindler has secured over $4 billion in compensation for 9/11 victims and their families.

For the 2023 holiday season, Kreindler staff and attorneys continued our participation with DEAR SANTA - the wonderful NYC program that connects law firms with challenged local schools and their students’ holiday wishes. This year we answered “Dear Santa” letters from the class at P.S. 68, The Port Richmond School for Visionary Learning on Staten Island. 10 years + of participation and going strong!

Kreindler Partner Andrew “Duke” Maloney (right) participated in the 2023 9/11 Day Meal Pack Program (pictured with 9/11 Day Founder Jay Winuk).

The nonprofit service organizations 9/11 Day and its Meal Pack Program have assembled and provided millions of nutritious meals for Americans at risk of hunger.

Duke, a longtime volunteer firefighter himself, who also served at Ground Zero in the days following the attack, won a five-year battle with the DOJ to gain well-deserved recognition, under the Federal Public Safety Officer’s Benefits Act, for Glenn Winuk, a volunteer firefighter and EMT who died on September 11, 2001.

Today we remember the heroes and victims we lost on September 11, 2001. We also remember the tens of thousands who were exposed to toxins and became ill or passed away in the 22 years since 9/11.

Today especially, we remember the lives lost and we move forward as we continue our fight for those affected by the horrific acts of September 11, 2001.
We will never forget.
