As you prepare for the new school year, don’t forget the hierarchy of contact.

If concerns come up — about services, behavior, communication, or support — knowing who to reach out to first can make all the difference.

Start here:
1️⃣ Teacher
2️⃣ Support Staff (case manager, therapist, counselor)
3️⃣ Administrator
4️⃣ Principal
5️⃣ Superintendent or CSE Chair

Start at the right level, document everything, and escalate as needed.
You don’t have to navigate it alone.
