Aspiring Lawyers: Don't Miss Our Special Upcoming Weil Legal Innovators Information Session

The National HBCU Pre-Law Summit & Law Expo and the National Black Pre-Law Conference and Law Fair Teams are pleased to share that we will be co-hosting a virtual Weil Legal Innovators (WLI) Program Information Session in collaboration with Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP.

This session is for individuals who have participated in past National HBCU Pre-Law Summit and National Black Pre-Law Conference programming and are interested in learning more about this unique opportunity. However, all prospective law students are also welcome to join us.

The Weil Legal Innovators (WLI) Program empowers future lawyers to engage with today’s pressing social and legal challenges before beginning law school.

Each year, ten (10) incoming law students from participating partner law schools defer their first year of law school to complete a paid public service fellowship at a leading nonprofit organization.

During this fellowship year, participants:

• Support strategic initiatives that promote social justice
• Expand access to legal resources
• Strengthen community-based organizations
• Develop professional and leadership skills
• Gain meaningful, hands-on experience prior to law school

Applications for the 2026–2027 Weil Legal Innovators Program are currently open and will close on March 16, 2026.

🗓 Information Session Details

Day: Friday, March 6, 2026
Time: 3:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. EST
