My wife sent me this last night. She was surprised that I was surprised that she considers me her best-friend . I was so busy trying to be a good husband I didn’t even notice. “one people, one nation, one destiny”

Those who know me know that I love my country of birth, especially the “country” areas. I am deeply saddened by what is going on in our country and sadder still by the handling of the investigation into the death of this child, Adriana.

I do not condone looting and the destruction of properties, but I understand. I do not like politics that’s why I refrain from political posts/comments. However, this situation requires every Guyanese to let their voices be heard.

Mr. Ali, you have grossly mishandled this situation. Real leaders are made in moments like these, but you have to be connected to tbe people you are leading. Your public comments shows that you are not connected or aware of the plights of most of your people. Who are you threatening when you speak about black listing from international travel? The family that is trying to figure out how to get “car fare” to get their child to school in the morning? Or were you talking to those that can’t afford to pay for a passport? Who do you think is looting Mr. President, those with frequent flyer miles?

Your statements sound like stump speeches at a political rally in one of your strongholds. Comedown, Mr. President, and take a good look at the people in the streets and make a decision to lead them. Right now, you’re the one that is politicizing this child’s death.

Happy Anniversary!
Over three years ago I got engaged and married this woman…oh, I loved her then. But it was that rough sea love; high emotions, unsettled, mind racing, what is love type of love. Today, it’s looking more like 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 love. This fun loving, crazy person, holding back cars in Italy today is a boss in every sense, a mother to more thank just her children, and an advocate for everyone that crosses her path in life. But above all else, she’s my wife 😁😍🥰.

People say, your marriage is young, give it time. We say “Oh God, please do. Give us time God.” I love my dear.

Happy Birthday to my wife , you’re my person. I don’t know how I got the husband title to this woman…🤫prayer works. “He’ll promote you at the right time.” We are all guilty of some form of self-promotion, but when God promotes you🫨. I genuinely enjoy doing life with you, even our disagreements. It has never been so easy to apologize…my heart has no chamber to house malice towards you. Even when I’m wrong, you’re still right on time with your love and support. You always give me what I ask for (daughter 😁 and blessed me with Aking, birthday party in a different country fit for royalty…), and you’re not afraid to give me what I need, whether I want it or not. You are an AMAZING everything, you truly are…I am grateful that HE turned your heart towards me. I pray for many more years for you and I hope God will bless me to continue with you on your journey.
