Thank you to for honoring Pitta & Baione LLP at the 61st Annual Lunar New Year Celebration for this special Year of the Fire Horse.
Founding Partner Matthew J. Baione who also serves as advocate on the CPC Human Rights Committee accepted the award on behalf of the firm (and happens to be born in a Year of the Horse). Thank you for the beautiful introduction and to both you and for introducing us to your teacher and mentor, the visionary, CPC Founder, Virginia Kee 10 years ago. The work we’ve done together has defined our firm and has helped support the Chinatown community, which was devastated by 9/11, its toxic fallout, and the financial decimation left in its wake. 25 years later, the community is stronger and more united than ever thanks to CPC and our joint efforts.
A very special thank you to CEO for serving as a partner in our goal to be agents of change and positivity in the community, and to all the board members, staff and leaders at CPC who work tirelessly and efficiently to serve tens of thousands of people each year.
Finally, to our dear friend, Senate Minority Leader for the beautiful remarks, including ‘s favorite line of “doing good while doing well,” and to our First Asian-American Mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani, for the acknowledgment and for the correct Italian pronunciation of Baione!
