Meet Vanessa — a Research & Writing Attorney in our New York office and a dedicated advocate for survivors of sexual abuse.

Before joining Herman Law, Vanessa practiced commercial litigation, focusing on complex business, property, and employment disputes. During law school, she gained early experience in the Child Abuse and S*x Crimes Bureau of a local District Attorney’s Office, which sparked her passion for advocacy in this field.

Vanessa earned her Juris Doctor magna cm laude from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University and currently serves on the New York State Bar Association’s Diversity & Inclusion and Legal Education Committees. She has been recognized by The National Trial Lawyers as one of the Top 40 Under 40 and named to its Civil Rights – Top 10 Trial Lawyers list.
