Our founder, , had the privilege of speaking at the inaugural MedSpa Summit at the Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia this past week alongside some of the most thoughtful leaders in the aesthetics space.

The summit was intentionally intimate, about 100 selected practice owners, founders, and operators, all in one room focused on the business side of building something meaningful. Real conversations about legal compliance, sustainable growth, leadership culture, and where the industry is heading.

Sara spoke on legal compliance for emerging aesthetic trends and the conversations that followed were exactly the kind we love having. Thank you to Bonnie Benedetto and the entire team for creating such a well-curated experience.

Georgia just updated its rules on nurse protocol agreements. Effective May 25, 2026.

The Georgia Composite Medical Board has amended Chapter 360-32 and the changes are significant. Physicians can now supervise up to eight APRNs or PAs at one time. Emergency Schedule II prescribing authority has been expanded. And new fast-tracked protocol approvals are now available for substantially similar agreements.

But the updates that give more flexibility come with the same strict expectations around chart reviews, training documentation, administrative deadlines, and the continued ban on APRNs hiring their own supervising physicians.

If your practice has not reviewed its protocols recently, now is the time.

Lengea Law was proud to be a part of the Injectables EDU Summit and we are still feeling the energy from that weekend.

Shirin, our Managing Partner, had the opportunity to speak to a room full of incredible aesthetic providers who are serious about growing their businesses the right way. The conversations were real, the community was warm, and the connections made throughout the weekend were the kind that actually stick.

Delaware PAs: independent practice is officially on the table.

House Bill 325 introduces Independent Practice Authority for PAs with 6,000+ post-graduate clinical hours, meaning eligible PAs can apply to practice and prescribe to the full extent of their education and training.

But here’s what most posts are leaving out: the law is effective immediately, but full implementation hinges on the Board of Medical Licensure approving enabling regulations. Until those rules are finalized AND your application is approved by the Regulatory Council, your current collaborative agreements need to stay in place.
