The secret to getting two adversaries to agree is giving them one person they can both trust.

Richard J. Fodera, Esq. has spent decades learning that the strongest mediators know the room as well as they know the case.

Over more than 30 years in civil litigation, he handled hundreds of complex, high-exposure matters from inception through verdict or settlement. He also participated in thousands of pre-trial settlement conferences in the Jury Coordinator Part of Brooklyn Supreme Court, where understanding the dynamics in the room mattered just as much as understanding the case on paper. That experience shaped an approach to mediation grounded in preparation, judgment, honesty, and compassion.
