EY Ernst & Young Global Services LLP, supported by R.E.A.L. - Racial Equality for Arbitration Lawyers and Rising Arbitrators Initiative, in cooperation with Equal Representation in Arbitration Pledge Young Practitioners Subcommittee and Arbitral Women, will be hosting a virtual workshop series "Demystifying quantum and expert evidence - The Impact of COVID-19 on damages assessment" on 20 October 2021 at 9:00 to 11:00 BST or 21 October 2021 at 15:00 to 17:00 BST.

This workshop aims to help arbitrators -- present and aspiring -- to understand the key aspects of quantum and expert evidences, to discuss the approaches experts may take amidst the uncertainties caused by COVID-19 on damages assessment, and to effectively deal with challenges presented by significant divergence between the quantum and expert evidences in quantifying damages in a disrupted market.
