Excited to be a co-sponsor for tonight's event: When is speech too offensive?

Ilya Shapiro, Professor Robert Garda, and Patent Law Professor Mike Carbo will be discussing Matal v. Tam ("the slants case"), Commercial Speech, and the First Amendment.

We will be discussing the tension between the government's duty to protect intellectual property, its power to regulate interstate commerce, and the restrictions placed upon it in censoring speech.

Loyola Law Building Room 405; 5PM; Pita Pit will be served.
