The awards keep coming for faculty! ๐ Monica Hof Wallace has been named the Louisiana Bar Foundation's 2025 Distinguished Professor. This award is given to a professor in Louisiana who has distinguished themselves in their chosen career and has brought credit and honor to the profession.
Professor Wallace, JD '98, is the Dean Marcel Garsaud, Jr. Distinguished Professor of Law. Her areas of expertise include Louisiana civil law, family law, successions, donations, and leadership in law. She is the author of the Louisiana Civil Law Treatise on Successions and Donations and is a co-author of the Louisiana Family Law Treatise. She also designed, developed, and served as the first director of the Loyola University Advocacy Center.
Professor Wallace joins a number of Loyola Law faculty who have been honored as LBF Distinguished Professors. She is an incredible example of excellence in teaching and leadership, and the College of Law celebrates her for this great recognition.
