Many people don't realize how much the State Realtor PACS do to support homeownership rights by meeting with elected officials to discuss how important it is to protect those rights.

When I see the acronym, PAC, I envision some unreachable entity, but it's not...it's real estate brokers/ agents, just like me.

Grassroots efforts, fund raising, visits to the capital, standing up for YOUR Home investment.

Over the past 2 legislative sessions, TREPAC was able to lobby for 2 increases to the homestead exemption in Texas.

Starting out at:
$40,000 in 2022
$100,000 in 2023$140,000 in 2025.

100k wiped from your tax calculation! That is a significant cost savings on primary home property taxes in Texas!

I support TREPAC each year and attend or contribute to as many funds raisers as possible! I've "won" many silent auctions 😆

This winter storm brings back memories of the 2021 storm where I rode it out with Fiona in Austin. It was NOT fun.

One thing I remember vividly is being alone, no power, no way to get out - the roads were thick with ice.

Grab your supplies, stay warm, stay off the roads and check on your neighbors!
