11 years ago in Paris. We had just been in 7 countries throughout Africa and newly married. France was supposed to be our "honeymoon". My clothes were huge from losing too much weight in Africa and Jess bought her clothes at a market in Tanzania. We have always been "flip flop" kind of people. I guess that's just the Gulf Coast in us 😂 . We were anything but Paris chique. But we loved the adventure ❤️
We were still rocking flip phones back then and this photo is far from filtered. But I often refer back to this memory because it represents one of my biggest foundational goals in business: wealth to Jessie Davis & I means creating the freedom to grow and build a multi-generational family line where our children, children's children, and children's children's children can live out fully who God made them to be in healthy, whole unbroken homes and vibrant marriages. I see so many making goals for newer and better and bigger things. I appreciate the different perspectives. But my goal is to scale my business enough to get back to those flip phone days. And to carry true wealth: the freedom to focus on the gifts right in front of me -- unhurried, not distracted, and unchained to the rat race. www.webuyneworleans.com 💥
