Your operating agreement should reflect the business you have today.
As a company grows or changes, its governing documents may need to change too. This can be especially important when there are multiple owners, updated management roles, family involvement, or questions about continuity.
An operating agreement may address matters such as ownership, decision-making authority, transfers, incapacity, and changes in membership.
If your business has changed since it was formed, this may be a good time to review the documents supporting it.
